Arborist

Our Certified Arborists in the Fort Worth Area

Having an ISA-Certified Arborist on your side is important for proper tree care. Luckily, we have five at Horton Tree Service. Obtaining this certification is a rigorous process and one that requires constant learning and experience.

The arborists at Horton Tree Service are all experienced professionals who are qualified to assess trees to determine the health, structure, safety or the feasibility within a given landscape. Don’t trust your tree work to amateurs. Give the pros at Horton Tree Service a call.

In order to become an ISA-Certified Arborist certain criteria has to be met. In order to be eligible for testing and certification, ISA requires a minimum of three years full-time experience in arboriculture, a two-year degree in arboriculture and two years of practical experience or a four-year degree in a related field and one year of practical experience.

Once the criteria is met and the extensive test is passed, certification is given for a period of three years. In order to maintain and renew certification, 30 CEUs must be accumulated during initial certification. Continuing education credits are further required to keep certification current

Our six arborists on staff have met one of the criteria and have passed the test. If you have need for a consultation, please call and ask for the arborist in your area.
