In order to become an
ISA
Certified Arborist certain criteria has to be met. In order to be eligible for testing
and certification,
ISA requires a
minimum of 3 years full time experience in arboriculture, a two year degree in
arboriculture and two years of practical experience or a four year degree in a
related field and one year of practical experience.
Once the criteria is met and the extensive test is passed, certification is
given for a period of three years.
In order to maintain and renew certification, 30 CEUs must be accumulated
during initial certification. Continuing education credits are further required
to keep certification current.
Our five arborist on staff have met one of the criteria and have passed the
test. If you have need for a
consultation, please call and ask for the arborist in your area.
